Slr Guide Forum Can Anyone Recommend A Good Online Guide For SLR Photography?

Can anyone recommend a good online guide for SLR photography? - slr guide forum

I have a pretty basic SLR camera. Although not digital. Does it matter? I inherited the camera and not the manual. I would like to know more about cameras and photography in general - Does anyone know a good start?

Good for you.
The SLR learn everything you need to know what is the basis.
The focus, depth of field, the development of vaccines, lighting - everything comes out in connection with the use of these devices.
If you want to go digital later be good because it is probably easier.
You will receive digi SLR though.

Go out and shoot anything and everything.
Perhaps do small things - anyone can make a landscape.
Try to detail, like a porthole on a ship or a coiled rope, the little things that make the picture.
Try to write down your aperture settings, and maintain, so that when you look at the etchings you can see how this response was good or bad.

I did everything as a child and now have a film company, click OK.
All because (I help as much as my pocket money and a little bit more - thanks Mom! Shot).

We are using an old Canon AE-1 (in a good state) that my mother is in line with us, and I for the first time when Canon and told me to sell you a manual for the camera, because it is so old.
Right.
So I had a quick search on the internet and found an interesting site, but on this device. Someone went through the trouble of actually the manual and add their own advice.
It has helped me to understand all the parameters and how exactly do anything.
You can try this.

I was stationed there 5 years and enrolled at the university this evening class for beginners. We learn from everything, like the camera, composition, the usual things such as depth and speed. We also learned the techniques of the darkroom - How to develop and process the images.
I continue to learn and then.
It is very funny ............................

I recommend the National Geographic Field Guide to Photogaphy on Amazon.com. In terms of orientation, I have not found anything worthwhile. Some sites give good advice, but nothing as comprehensive as the purchase of a book or go and do indeed make mistakes and learn how to improve your photos. Try photography.about.com. Enjoy!
